   Oh, in many ways, and the ways he demonstrates courage often show resourcefulness and a clever wit along the way. The first and most dignified way he does so is how he responds to the rude kids on the bus. It takes courage to stay calm and polite when others are being rude to you, but he does. After that, I'm fond of the way he edited the insult written on his book bag. Changing that phrase makes it clear that he knows how much of an outsider he is in the community, but that he refuses to let it upset him.
